Many of our dreams have been crushed, freeus

Just relax and enjoy the coming summer. Money is great. but it isn't everything.

Qualcomm can amaze. It's 69 now. This market is crazy.

I fully expect explosive earnings in July--if we can just get there alive and in one piece. Also, by then, I think China Unicom will have a lot more engineering "clarity." Qualcomm is a winner being beseiged by its adversaries. This has happened before.

Sure, I wish I'd closed down the portfolio in January. Hell, we even had an opportunity at 160 in late March.

Don't beat yourself up.

John

Take the LONG view. I do!

If I had it to do all over again, I'd still stiff Uncle Sam on the taxes.

Perhaps buying puts on the Nasdaq Composite next time it has a huge run might be the best avenue to hedging. You only have to pay the tax if the deal blows up.
