Re: I like to explain you all how you can deal with your wife in such a volatile market.

Bert,

Interesting idea for those of you with wives, but what if your wife gets the bright idea next time she's on the internet to pull up a quote of AMD? Do you say, "wow!! I haven't checked in a while, it sure has gone up!!" If your wife is hip to the markets, she might think you're up to something though.

chic (who's glad he doesn't have this problem)

I don't know about you, but my wife is getting incredible nervous about up and down swings in the stock market. And I found a very good solution for that. I always say a price which is about 20 to 30% lower than the real price. So for my wife, AMD is the last months between 50 and 60$. Since the real price is higher, I don't consider this lying.

If AMD is going over hundred, I will increase to $80.

Bert,

One day your wife will figure out how to get quotes on her own and then we will hear the yelling all the way over here!!! LOL

Well...I have the opposite situation, my wife knows as much or more about what's going on with AMD than I do. As you can guess I married way over my head and am barely able to keep up. Just lucky she keeps me around.

BTW, what percentage discounts is AMD giving on their "clearance sale"? Have you received any pricing of the new stuff coming? Do you have any TBirds yet? Do you ever sell to Americans (it looks like I may be buying some Durons/TBirds soon)?

Kindest regards,
CrazyMan
