First of all 98% of the float held by institutions seems way too high.

It seemed too high for me too. But Yahoo backs up the numbers with specifics.

Jim,

AMD float.

Jerry is largest shareholder and he only has 2M shares.

If we assume holders own 20M shares held inhouse(which I think is way high) that is only 12-13% ownership.

No way is 28% or 50M shares held in house.
