George, so now you turn your nose up at possible 40 million year after year??? Theoretically, ANY microbe if given a chance will eat up an eyeball. Big deal is if you come up against a resistant bug that outruns you. Most eyeball guys play offense especially after any invasion of the cornea ala lens implants. I don't know about preventive usage after Lasik even though they flip up and barbecue the back of the cornea.
