Production for 2000 will be about the same as 1999, 2569mt.
Production is down slightly in Australia, South Africa, US, and Canada.
Up a lot in other areas of the world, making up any difference.
Even Freeport managed to talk the Indonesian government out of their 15% production cut demand, now scaled back to only 4% cut.

In 2001, production should resume its upward trend with several big new projects coming online.
I predict a new world production record over 2600mt in 2001.
