Mike,
Hi!!

RE: It's nice to see M. Dell is spearheading the cost cutting!

Two years ago Gerry Fry stopped here at our high school to say hello...He is the NYState rep for DELL for all of the K-12 and Educational sales at the college level....He personally told me that he had learned of me from a seminar he was at in Austin and wanted to talk to me first hand..Our high school had just bought all DELL's....So, he found an easy reason to stop by... :o)....Well, we had a great time and I learned a very valuable bit of information from him....DELL was targeting servers....servers....servers....servers...."and when we get finished pushing servers we are to push severs"... :o)
IMO DELL has seen that the direct model is winning ....
"THE WORLD IS GOING DIRECT" ...and management is moving up the food chain at the higher profit knowing that the reputation of DELL for the lower margined products will follow with less "push"....The physical evidence of this has been something that folks like JDMain and others have discovered in Round Rock...And, if you have seen the size of the server facilities built there you'd know that DELL's plans to build a tremendous number of servers and data storage...This higher margin will return earnings that IMO will be shocking....Let's not forget that everywhere DELL has gone they have won....Michael's bold statement well over 18months ago concerning: "EXPOSING THE SERVER RIP-OFFS OF THE PAST" stays on my mind daily....One must have patience...But, sooner than later DELL will be stealing market share from SUNW and the world will finally take notice....MLynch has a report out on DELL that a friend of mine sent me two months ago...They mention in this report that towards the end of 2000 and definitely towards the beginning of 1st quarter 2001 DELL will eat into SUNW and when they do the stock will rise significantly...Knowing that the fund managers buy in somewhere around 9 months in advance....I'd say that now is a perfect time for ____:

BUY DELL

Best, Kemble
