Wayne, considering Dan has only been at Lehman for a week now, that's a gutsy call.
As for Intel bailing out of MU, I wonder if it has anything to do with MU's strong support of DDRDRAM? Intel does appear to be making a good return on the $500M investment in MU. <g> Been spending time trying to figure out where Rambus/DDR is going. I think we're coming to what Grove would call an "inflection point" in the industry. Major market forces in conflict here. But very interesting. <g>

The sheer magnitude of Intel's sales is astounding! I count about $360 million in 2 weeks! And I believe their cost basis is less than a third that amount. These sales alone could have a measurable impact on Intel's profits this quarter. That is probably why they are selling. It's an amazing racket.
