freeus, Based on my account composition, my stocks that I held would be down almost another 30% on average more as of the close last week. My best performing accounts were the tax deferred, and I sold them earlier since tax consequences weren't part of the equation. 30% is a lot of money to "make up", most investors would be thrilled to get a 30% return on THE YEAR. I think it's damn near impossible to "call the bottom" or "the top", the best you can do is make sure your pointing in the right direction before you take off<vbg> bp
