Steve --

I don't know where we're headed ST, but I do know Supercomm starts next week and there should be a lot of interest in infrastructure companies then. SDL won't be there, but growth in the networks that power the Internet will be center stage.

I'll be there. :)

Pat

"I took some profits on SDLI today. Gosh...
60 points in 2 days!!
I'll get it back around 200. The stocks showing quite a fight here, and I think that high 220's are the ST top."

you couldn't have said it better.
that gap at 200 has to be a short term priority.

be nice to have this bit of technical housecleaning done by Friday.
so i'm giving these June 220 puts, 2 days to perform.

SDL Inc. said it expects to report better-than-expected sales and operating profit for the second quarter on strong demand for its fiber-optic components. The announcement drove its shares up 18% on Friday. SDL, San Jose, Calif., said it expects to report operating profit of $25.9 million, or 31 cents a diluted share, before charges and gains for the quarter ending June 30. In 4 p.m. Nasdaq Stock Market trading Friday, SDL rose $29.75 to $197.75.
