Thomson I-Watch indicates that today's activity was mainly driven by retail investors with limited institution participation. If its true, you might be right about bear market rally. CSCO is not quite over bought yet, might move another 3 to 5 points. I will watch QQQ for trend reversal to take any short positions.

Good you did not short, IMHO 90-92 area looks safer as even if we have a new bull market I doubt we will go through 93 without a pullback to may be 83. Then If 83 does not hold it will qualify as a bear market, if 93 is taken out the new bulls will smile. At least these are the level I'm watching.

Mark, Please look at ALSC and ADCT... Is it just the market climate or is ADX not as effective as I once thought?. These 2 charts are quite nice in my opinion, confirmed by RSI and MACD.. If I was requiring ADX to be over, even 20, I would not be touching them. RSI, on the other hand has not failed me yet. This may also mean ADX is better used for swing traders, it's current recommendation I suppose to still do nothing with most of these stocks. Rashid
