Glad to see your back, Bambs. Keep posting. (not that you went anyplace) As for being our enemies, that was a joke. Even short people help the market. Buying when the stock falls is definetly good for us longs.

As for 29, everything was slower back then. Way slower. Everything was also way different. I'm not saying we won't crash, but I have a Hard time believing it. Tech is our new god. Very weird world we live in.

I will state that I wouldn't be surprized if this minor rally doesn't collapse tommorow or the next day. Greenspan couldn't have been happy with today. The nasdaq is not suppose to have it's "biggest day ever" in this enviroment. Perhaps we can hold the mid 50's this time, perhaps not. On the other hand, the housing market HAS to be slowing down with the current mortgage rates. But Porches keep coming into work. :)

>Don't forget the crash of 1929 took 2 years to complete.

Bambs,

I don't like the inference that there is some type of connection between what happened back in 1929 and today. You might have been reading what the jerk economist Shiller at Yale wrote in the Washington Post recently. The differences between now and 1929 and today are so stark that it is laughable to compare the two time frames. I would think someone from Yale would know better. Guess not. Maybe you got your information from somewhere else. No matter. It's a complete joke to have made the inference you made.
