Mark - thanks for your extensive reply. I used AB Watley for awhile & liked them except that their order options were limited (no stop limits, etc.) & their customer service deteriorated (they originally had real people answer the phone always, which was part of what got me to sign up), plus they had fairly frequent server problems. I'm not sure I really need direct access now, but like to know what people think. Thanks for the SI link. I understand Schwab fills a lot internally which may account at least in part for what you were saying.
