(NASDAQ NM: LUMM - news), announced today that Pierre-Andre Roy has been appointed to its Board of Directors. Mr. Roy recently retired from Bombardier, where he held senior financial management positions since 1980. With the appointment of Mr. Roy, a new appointment, Lumenon's Board now totals eight members. In 1987, Mr. Roy assumed the position of Controller of Bombardier's Transportation Equipment Group and a few months later moved to the position of Controller for the holding corporation, Bombardier, Inc. In 1989, Mr. Roy joined Bombardier's Aerospace Group as Vice President of Finance where he was also responsible for Information Technologies and Sales Financing Activities. In 1992, he was promoted to President and General Manager of the Aerospace Group's Amphibious Aircraft Division. In 1993, Mr. Roy assumed the role of President and COO for Bombardier Capital. From 1995 to 1996, he served in a dual role as President of Bombardier Capital and Treasurer of the holding corporation, Bombardier Inc. Mr. Roy relinquished his position as Treasurer in May 1996 to focus on developing Bombardier Capital business interests. He retired in February 2000. He began his career in financial services with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce before becoming Controller at Montel, Inc. He later served as Vice President of Finance and Operation for Groupe BFG Limitee.
