Thanks, t2. If today's action for the NAZ turns out to be a one day "island" type of action, bouncing off the top trend line resistance in the next few days, we should be able to get perhaps one more buying opportunity for JDSU before the next huge run. Either way, I agree with your feeling that we'll see an explosive advance sooner rather than later.

Regards.

t2, speculating.( Agaaaain? ). Anyway, here it goes: Yesterday the biggest Naz percentage increase on record.
However it was on low volume.
When I see anomalies I am trained to always look for
A DISEASE, <vgb>, and ask why.
I don't see a disease here but here is my hypothesis:

What if this rally has been led by the little guy?
Little mom and pop sitting in fron of PC. Day traders Inc.
etc etc.
ie What if little guy saw the market touch 3200 3 times and
bounce off everytime. He goes on MDD thread ( free of
charge of course ) and reads that we may be forming
an inverted Head and Shoulders formation; very bullish.

Then he sees all these stocks at rock bottom prices all
over the place. Things he's wanted all year. For pennies.

Then he thinks. ( Always a bad habit the little guy in regards
to the ruling Intelligentsia ).
" Why do I have to wait for Abby or Merrill to tell me yo get back
in the market? These guys are all telling me the US is going to
the dogs in a handbasket and all I see around me are people
working hard as hell making gobs of money and
want to invest it?
Besides Merrill Lynch chief analyst Bernstein was bearish since
1997 which means Merrill missed all the tech gains in last 3 years,
( that's why they fired their INTC analyst Kurlack and hired
hot internet analyst Blodgett ) [ actually I don't really know if
little guy said these things about Merrill but anyway I think
it is fair to assume that little guy smelled a rat. Often he
is one of the first to do so.

So little guy says to wify: Donna we are buying Tuesday and that's it.
I can't wait :.

So freash out of Barbecue Grill and hot dogs he puts all the stash saved in the
last 2 - 3 months in.

Result: Prices today are higher than last Friday.

I suspect little Joe is correct.
I also suspect that he won't sell.
Then I become more suspicious and see FIDO and co ( the guys
paid to do the heavy thinking and poo pooohed technonology
and mo (mentum) investing till the very last and then just
couldn't wait any longer and jumped in ) and these
guys are saying to each other:

"Hey after we told little Joe to get out of the pool last
March, when we had all the intelligentsia get on CNBC and
announce that, Abby,Moebius etc etc etc ) now he is not waiting
for our signal to jump back in again.
Tha's not fair!!! "
So Michael tells Robert, "Yeah but Bob what do we do meanwhile?
Market is going up and staying up. Are we going to miss the rally ".
" Well I guess no " says Robert ." Buy ".

So now you've heard.............the rest of the story.

:-)

I don't know if they (DOJ) can get an extension of the 20 days.

Kevin stated in the conference call or in an interview (a while back, so I forget which) that they cannot.

So we have to be pretty close to a thumbs up.
