Steven, I haven't had a chance to review the case, but I would be willing to bet if you asked the father he would say the Clinton administration has done very little to help get his children back. Further, he would say he has done a lot more for a Juan Miguel then he has for him.

Practically every action this administration takes is politically motivated. Until his children become a political issue, look for inertia to prevail. The Elian case might create the political environment for him to get motivated.

We have thousands of troops in Germany. Are influence regarding this father's children is formidable when leadership exists.
