Hey what's with this up 10+ points on 57 million shares stuff. I had it on good account from this thread that QCOM stock was a broken piece of you-know-what, had no chance in heck of going up any time soon, and was going to have to slog through the mud for every penny of increase for the next 2-3 years... whassup wit dat?

My accountant agrees with yours: if you sell options at a loss and buy back options but with a different symbol, you don't have to wait 30 days to still have your loss.
We'll stay tuned for that excercizing next Dec: are you in margin, or just used up all your cash?

Rick, if you haven't done so already, you might check with disu about that wash rule. You might find more detailed information from the Treasury than from the IRS.
