Sonki. Nice job on near term targets. Are we a little timid with JDSU? gg. 96? It's 93 in after hours. Someone mentioned a 175 target price for Intel and more to come. I believe it was Niles, but am not positive.

I listened to the author of "The Roaring 2000s". He wrote about targets for 2009. The DOW target is 35,000 and the NAZ target is 25,000. Harry S. Dent mentioned that the NAZ has a better appreciation ahead than the DOW. No kidding. Up 8 times in 9 years. Wow. And what do we have in the NAZ? TECHS.
BTW, I like his target prices better than yours. gg. Of course, yours are near term.
Now I don't want to only post his bullish stance. He believes there will be many more down turns and one of those down turns could happen after this rally. The targets for 2009 would be the same. Right now he would feel better if the DOW broke 10,900 and the S&P 1400+. (Me too) I can't remember the exact number. Well, I guess there will always be a down turn after a rally. gg. I can forecast that. I don't want to forecast his possible down side target.

More and more analysts believe that the FED could be ending their rate hikes soon. Some are now talking about only 1/4 point, some 1/2 point, some 3/4 point and some even more. Get it? gg. What calmed me the most today about rate hikes was a FED GOV, I believe of New York States, saying that the FED's job could be done soon. I also believe that he was one of the hawks.

Globex is nicely in the black at this time. Let's hope it stays that way.

I guess you saw your fav. guy on Moneyline tonight? Not counting your hubby of course. Sheesh. Every time I see him I think of monopoly. He talks of the net being in the first inning and then he mentions in the same breath: And what do you think most of those users will encounter first? Right. Our servers. Not exact words.

When I think that I panicked in 97 and sold my 500 sh. at 48 and never bought back in. Um, um.
