sb - I think DELL knows. At the moment DELL does not make the combination of servers and storage big enough to run terraserver - not by a factor of 10. But there are also only a handful of sites in the world that need that kind of horsepower. Alpha is the leader in high performance technical computing, now that Cray is out of the game. The sum total of that business is about equal to a month of DELL's server business... probably not an important target compared with internet infrastructure.
