Would you invest your money in a venture fund managed by Atiq Raza? Considering his timing of the exit from AMD, and the quality of the company he left, and the only other thing I know about him - that he wanted to sell Dresden, I have to question his judgement.

Steve,

Lance Smith was the marketing? guy who presented K6 at Microprocessor Forum in 1996. I doubt that he was a critical figure in the design of K7.

I remember his presentation, and he really thought that K6 was going to be hot stuff.
