Sounds very left-brainy - not exactly my forte. But it does sound intriguing and stimulating. Is Teilhard de Chardin mentioned? I'll peruse the book next visit to the bookstore.

Another good book along these lines is Nonzero by Robert Wright. I started it but have set it aside for the time being. Reading 3 or 4 books at the same time does not work.

Just brought Darwin Among the Machines home. It looks terrific, I love the writing style.

Ezra Pound wrote that Liebniz was the last philosopher to actually get hold of anything. Always wondered what he meant by that. Maybe now I'll find out.
