AMD had their presentation from the Microprocessor Forum on their website that had a picture of what it looks like. Here is the link to the presentation amd.com and here to the picture that shows how LDT works amd.com . I have no clue how LDT would work in a less than 8-way system. Can anyone clue us in? "Do you or anyone know if AMD's point to point protocol with this platform gives AMD an advantage over Intel's shared bus strategy? That's a little over my head. I hope someone with more technical background can comment." We could get Tench to help us, but his answer my be rightfully biased since he works for Intel. Ali? Dan?
