bite your tongue, you nasty man. Of course, if that did happen I'd still probably do ok, because it would mean that the rally would have continued and our other stuff would have kept going up too, but still...

That actually raises a semi-serious discipline question (and no, I'm not talking about what you and WWW were doing in the "bathroom"). Thanks to the thread and the game, I'm finding it easier than I would have thought to "ignore all other news," as the manual says. But I find it devilishly difficult to stop looking over my shoulder at green grass elsewhere, beyond my existing portfolio's trimmed confines.

I mean, of course now it shouldn't bother me at all if CTXS runs up tomorrow--but it would, and that kind of stuff can keep me from selling when I should. Just like I can't resist buying into to various stocks when things seem cheap, because otherwise they could bounce back without me and I'd miss out on a potential game. Childish newbie errors, I know I know, but still tough to shake. Maybe I should see Dr. Id.
