New mission. etc, etc. The fundamental basis supporting Eric's ONE Vision which I think Steve Adams is certainly capable of supporting is to get people inside and outside of companies to understand that CONNECTEDNESS and TRUST is what ties us all together. CONNECTIVITY is the technology. And the degree of trust and open communication will determine how "new" and free and powerfully in synch the technology will be with human energies and human TRUST. Communities are collections of INDIVIDUALS who are connected though personal channels of associative, relative, measureable, conditional....TRUST. The more we learn the value of TRUSTING and RISKING, the more we will learn the value of growing pies, the more this "newness" thinking will catch on. We all need to take more ownership and responsibility for how massively we can help create and destroy trust. We all need to learn the value of thinking longer term about values and principals which support rather than undermine trust. And if all works right, we will enable the development of processes and procedures which are supported by technologies which will further extend the process of delivering more power, control and flexibility to INDIVIDUALS.
