God justified his own mass murders JLA- I'm surprised you missed those chapters.

But let me give you one other easy example:

Exodus 22:18 may have caused more murders of innocent people than any other passage
in the Bible. Among the 20 versions of the Bible that we sampled, 14 used the term to
sorcery; 2 to evil magic, 1 to magic and only 3 to Witchcraft. The latter were:

King James Version: "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live."

The Promise: Contemporary English Version: "Death is the punishment for
Witchcraft."

Revised English Bible: "You must not allow a witch to live."

And yes, I am predisposed to dislike religion or ANYTHING that people believe in so fervently that they lose sight of the harm they do here on earth because of an eye to some possible reward in heaven. Since I do NOT believe there may necessarily BE anything after this I certainly don't want to suffer harm at the hands of someone who is planning to feather his or her nest in an afterlife that may or may not exist.

I can find more items in the Bible that have been used to justify murders- but I really think ONE is sufficient to disprove your point that NO reasonable interpretation supports mass murder. I have shown you the passage and this passage has been used. Ta da.
