Pursuit of truth?? hmmmmmm I don't know about pursuit, but I agree that leaders are/were made to look like shining beacons. Maybe that spotlight will make some of these men/women better people . Will future generations of leaders be better people if we as a nation start now holding them/us to a higher standard?

chalu2, I lived in the 40's and 50's and the politicians had not been "infected' with the Sigmund Freud Non-Scientific theory that we are born only with one trait' in our brain and that is DEVIATED SEXUAL DESIRE' thus was born the "Free Sex, Free Love Syndrome as well as the 'Hate Ma and Pa' syndrome. Dr. Freud was the father of Western Psychology and now his theory has been "debunked and he has been banished from the Scientific Community..Now where are we?? Psychiatry does not work, If it did we would not have a need for all the Psychotropic drugs and just look look at all the Sex Deviates running amuck;-( Kids killing their parents and vice versa' It was a much different world in the 40's and 50's..
