I don't say it HAS to happen. I've never ever said that. MY problem is with people who are basically fundamentalists- "true believers" in the HOFFER sense (since H managed to completely misinterpret that previously). I agree that it is NOT necessary but history shows us it happens anyway. And I do not like it. And since history has NEVER shown me an instance of apathetic believers, or agnostics getting themselves whipped up into a frenzy to do anything to ANYBODY- I champion (in my own non- believing way) lack of belief- in everything- including what I say. I (unlike the Bible) am very consistent.
