Actually I think highly of Dan Niles.
But does he really move a stock ?
Yesterday on Digital Jam (sat tv) he said he was
like a "weather man".
A weather man tells about the rain, but a weather man
can not make it rain.
But Hal cann't read, so what Dan Niles says doesn't
mean a thing.
By the way, did you see hal's first two trades have been closed out today with profits.

jhg, most folks on this thread are negative for 1 single reason. mu has not had net positive cash flow since it went public. their debt has skyrocketed - thank goodness they converted that debt to shares and diluted their company.

expect billions more in debt to be forthcoming over the next several years.

the analysts tout this stock to no end - and for no reason. dram prices drop for 4 months - not a peep. prices rebound for a week and the tout-a-thon commences.

commodity industry. money losing company - even after windfall profits. manipulative management and analysts.

play mu if YOU know what you are doing. otherwise, stay away. this may be the MOST MANIPULATED stock on wall street.

Quadruple from here? How much money has MU made in the last 5 years? Isn't MU involved in a cyclical business where it's PE multiple ought probably be applied to "normalized" earnings or at least some very low multiple of "peak" earnings? I have to admit that I just don't get it! What does Dan Niles say supports a $280 share price for MU?
