Good suggestions. Also, maybe he could put a helmet on and have his picture taken sitting in a tank.

But Bush could easily have a press conference with the pentagon in the background. He could then claim the chiefs were receptive to his ideas (unless of course they weren't, in which case it would leak out somehow).

LOL. Clinton's Joint Chiefs weren't even consulted when he did his bombing for Monica campaign.

And very often when the Joint Chiefs have been briefed they have opposed Clinton's risky schemes.

Defense will be a huge issue in the coming campaign and those concerned about the Clinton-AlGore the Junior abuse of the military will vote for Bush. Cohen is generally regarded as a weak and ineffectual secretary.

Well, I am glad that his campaign had the sense not to do such a thing, which, IMO, would have crossed the line.......
