It means that Christians are looking for witches, and whether or not they EXIST, Christians have managed to find them anyway- that is the point- they have done and they still DO. I've MET some (rather odd) Christians who believe there are real witches out there. If you haven't met any Christians like that- just do a web search- I am SURE they are on the net. The neat thing about belief is that it allows you to find things that might or might NOT be there. All you have to do is BELIEVE they are there, and voila.
