COM) 31/05/00 17:15: Vodafone AirTouch placed on CreditWatch positive - S&P Vodafone AirTouch placed on CreditWatch positive - S&P LONDON (AFX) - Standard & Poor's Corp said it has placed its A-minus/A2 corporate credit ratings on Vodafone AirTouch PLC on CreditWatch with positive implications following the news that Vodafone has agreed to sell Orange PLC to France Telecom and retain the proceeds. S&P said it has also placed all other ratings on Vodafone and its rated group companies, AirTouch Communications Inc and Mannesmann AG, on CreditWatch positive. S&P said it expects to resolve the CreditWatch situation after the completion of the Orange disposal. mh/lam
