CREE from May 23th watch list.. exploding.. How do we find the best 'bets' We would look for some watch list (or earnings plays) stocks from the last 5-6 weeks which have trading down considerably but whose fundamentals basically remained unchanged. The session which was scanned (thursday) should have had a 'range contraction' day, a day with little price activity, little buying or selling, decreasing volume. On Friday many of these stocks which have a particularly small range day on Thursday ran up on Friday's mid day rally and stayed up through today.
