imho there are so many variables that come into play that price action, for the most part, is random. I think that market psychology is a powerful and under-estimated force that really shows at the extremes of cycles like we are going through right now. Interestingly, I think that most of the folks on this thread did pretty well putting up with the negative feelings that have been going around for the last several weeks. Didn't like it, but put up with it without doing anything foolish.
