Tero: Don't forget the 54Mbps (that is no misprint) for HiperLAN2 that is also being targeted at filling the holes of 3G. Makes that Qcom stuff look rather tame.

Tero: Now you are talking. Bluetooth will cause major changes and be much in demand IMO. Note: This is a case where a European initiative has been warmly embraced by Qualcomm. To the best of my knowledge, all Q chipsets going out the door now have Bluetooth built in.

PS. In return, so this is not just a one was street, how about trying out HDR with GSM? After all it is not quite entirely CDMA but has Time Division elements. Could that permit it to "pass" through the Euro barriers? Smile.

tero: Wish you well with your thesis. Unless your thesis committee is particularly hardnosed and narrow in outlook, the analytical, persuasive and writing skills you show on this thread should make a thesis like "rolling off a log" to use an old expression.

Curious, is the thesis in your original field or your adopted one?

while I can understand that testicular germ cell derivatives are disposed to DAD apoptosis, I have to say I'm not in favour of that. They can earn their own damn living!

The polydactyly phenotype is more my style, though the pterodactyl is more tasty.

Grilled Terodactyl [a Pterodactyl mutant testicular germ cell derivative] is tough to pin down though - keeps slipping away just when you think you have it.

However, watch it with encroaching on my CDNA [TM]. cDNA is looking dangerously close to CDNA [cyber deoxyribonucleic acid].

I can see that watching the glory of Globalstar is light relief and even fun after dealing with myeloid leukaemia, neuroblastoma and Caenorhabditis elegans. But prevention of DAD neuronal apoptosis looks like your more valuable calling.

I'm all in favour of no DAD demise via apoptosis or other means.
