It's a big mess. A nightmare. The seat of government should be moved to a better place. The US deserves better.

Neocon, I believe that I have visited every great City in the Western World. (Haven't touched the Eastern World yet) and I find None to Compare with Washington and its Cultural Marvels. The fact that it "sprawled instead of goin up" is the 9th wonder of the world. St Petersburg, Russia is very beautiful as is Rome and the Vatican. but D.C. has its own wonderful Grandeur;-) I love the Library of Congress. When I mover there in 1957, I loved to walk on the National Capitol Lawn. I lived in the NE section and it was a daily event for some time...
