Moonray, did you bring a little "friend" home with you from Fla?

Twin Cities Journal: Did canoeist see an alligator in Isles, or is it a croc?

Wearing hip waders and standing about 10 feet into the shallows of Lake of the Isles, Chris Kuhn worked a fly line Thursday as another fellow approached his fishing spot.

"Any alligators today?" the newcomer asked.

Anduin Wilhide, right, says she saw the alligator while canoeing with her father, Doug, left, and mother earlier this week. On Thursday, they stood on the southeastern shore of Lake of the Isles, where they saw the creature.
"Nope, no alligators," Kuhn said evenly. "But I'm not really fishing for them."

Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water (if not to eat more than one serving of fish per month), here comes Doug Wilhide with an alligator sighting in Lake of the Isles.
