Hello heinz,
I appreciate your view point and to some degree I agree with your assertions that there are similarities between Japan of a few years ago and the US markets of today. I must add that I believe there are enough different economic conditions today in the US, and the world for that matter, which make direct comparisons too convenient for anyone trying to present a 'bear viewpoint' that the market will crash. It's just too easy to say that what happened to Japan and their markets will happen here to our's.

I thought I had made it clear that my reference to DOW 2000 was in response to Skeeter's call for a 90% drop and I understand why you thought my reference was to directed at you. This was not the case.

I believe there are many valuation issues weighing on today's market that will eventually be addressed by the normal course of trading. This does not mean we will have to crash down hard like many on the bubble thread seem to believe.

Best regards,
Michael
