Note on Whisper numbers: The site referenced yesterday showed a whisper number (.11) that was below the consensus estimate (.14). That is odd, and is perhaps the result of confusion about EPS before or after one time charges? It also noted that the number was the the polling of just 3 people. whispernumber.com Another site had the whisper at .16, which seems more reasonable and was the results of poling 8 analysts. earningswhispers.com Might be good to bookmark both for those interested in whispers.
