FWIW, I had an order in all day for QQQ July 66 (there didn't look like much action in the 64's at all) puts at 1 1/16, just in case there was a nasty melt-up of 3 or 4 QQQ points today.

We got the nasty melt-up, and more. QQQ was up over 5 at one point. Not only should I have been filled, I should have been filled and cursing that I got in too early.

My conclusion / prediction: If they wanted to screw me by selling me an option that was going to become a bad deal in a short amount of time, they had all day and plenty of cover (closing bid/ask was 1 1/16 x 1 1/8, still overpriced) to do it. The jobs report gets SOLD tomorrow. I'll be buying 66's at the open.
