Alcatel To Supply Fiber For CapRock Communications Network Dow Jones Online News, 05/31/2000 13:51 DALLAS -(Dow Jones)- Alcatel S.A. (ALA) will supply fiber for more than 2000 miles of CapRock Communications Corp.'s (CPRK) planned 7,500-mile network. Financial terms weren't disclosed. In a press release Wednesday, CapRock said its network extends throughout six southwestern U.S. states, bringing telecommunications and Internet service to businesses. Telecommunications equipment supplier Alcatel will use its TeraLight and Standard Single Mode Optical Fiber Cables in the project.
