Excellon Resources Inc - Bishop says Excellon should soon have Platosa news Excellon Resources Inc EXN Shares issued 17,528,043 2000-05-30 close $0.3 Wednesday May 31 2000 Robert Bishop, writing in a May 2 Fax-Alert (No. 163), says that while there has not been any announcement of a drill program from partner Apex Silver, one is expected soon, and this explains recent signs of life in the Excellon Resources market. Mr. Bishop recommended the stock three times in 1999, between 38 cents in January and 53 cents in May. He says that while Excellon is likely to encounter more high-grade intersections of mineralization at its Platosa property in Bolivia, the question is whether or not an economic deposit emerges from this work. Mr. Bishop says he is optimistic that something more than narrow bands of mineralization exists at Platosa. Apex Silver could also use positive developments, he adds.
