they are indeed. the credit markets are simply too large for manipulation to have any longer-lasting effects. although one must admit that Summers has proven to be quite adept at this, but then his efforts concern only treasuries.

imo stocks, gold and silver are manipulated on a massive scale...all the circumstantial evidence and seemingly 'inexplicable' price movements bear this out. i venture to say that the manipulators will eventually get theirs...they will lose control. the TED spread may in hindsight become a trigger event. 117 is extremely large...
