Re: Jeffrey L. Blackburn Jeff Blackburn, posting as geochem7 on Raging Bull, wrote:We entered OREX August 17, 1999 as stockholders only . ragingbull.com Hmmm... that directly contradicts the Form 10 that lists Jeffrey L. Blackburn, age 45, as Vice President , a "Position Held Since August 15, 1999" with a 1999 "Salary Paid in Cash" of $20,000. Jeff also says:I'm sure that if you really want to find out what happened to OREX you will find the answer with HABE. Same people started both companies. Who set up the "OREX HGP Scam"? Orex was about HGP and nothing else. We Blackburns were duped but at least we saw through the BS long enough to get as far away from HGP as possible. We are not in the stock scam business; we are in the mining business. There is a difference. ragingbull.com However, it appears the Blackburns were planning to be part of public corporation months prior to meeting up with ORXX. Note that their worldvanadium.net website was created six months prior, on 2/2/99:Message 10872102 Also note that stuff that originally appeared on the worldvanadium.net website included stock information, as if they were contemplating going public way back then:Message 10898512 Here is a section that talks about their management:The management of World Vanadium has the expertise to guide the company to its rise as one of the leading uranium/vanadium producers in the world. The team of qualified individuals combines over 150 years of uranium/vanadium mining and business management experience. Our expertise is not just in the business, it is also in the area and type of deposits we now own. Our Operations Manager, Jim Butt, has been mining Colorado Plateau deposits for over 37 years. We have a certified MSHA trainer, as well as experienced lead-miners with over 15 years experience in the area. Our Acquisition manager has over 15 years experience in all aspects of land status and associated issues. Further, our Board of Directors includes some of the most reputable men in the mining industry. These include Al Dearth, former president of Atlas Minerals and Bruce Kemper, founder and CEO of Frontier Kemper. It appears that in early April World Vanadium was planning to do a (reverse) merge with LALV, but a month later LALV merged with cyberoad.com. See: Message 10906130 So, it appears quite apparent to me that the Blackburns had their eye on the stock market prior to hooking up with ORXX. This leads to the obvious question of whether ORXX searched out the Blackburns or whether it was really the other way around (i.e. mean old ORXX took advantage of the nice miners) as it appears Jeff Blackburn seems to be implying. Jeff, can you clear up this matter for us? - Jeff
