Window dressing, most likely. Who wants to show techs in their monthly report? I hope you're right Charles but I think yesterday was just a bear market rally, a step up in an overall downward trend. I'll change my mind when we put in 3-4 decent days in a row. Right now any sign of strength is still getting sold into IMHO. It'll take a June no-op by the Fed (plus other stuff) to reverse things, and that's a near-zero probability. They'll pump one more round into the corpse to make sure it's dead. I agree with all your observations about underlying reality but we're talking abnormal psychology here and the underlying reality doesn't matter any more than it did when Iomega cost $200 or whatever. --QS
