Thunderbird introduced without DDR...

What are you talking about again? Thunderbird is a microprocessor, not a chipset or memory.

As far as DDR-SDRAM is concerned, AMD will introduce a chipset(s) supporting DDR in Q4. Other chipsets may be introduced before AMD from vendors such as Via, Ali and Micron.

Sis is presently planning only SDR-DDR support, but that may change as DDR becomes mainstream memory.
