This is pretty damn mysterious, and starting to piss me off, goddamit.

I think I even have a book with info about this, if the collection was shelved.

One good thing is, you can get the spikes without getting the point, and enjoy them and their sexy curves.

What I've seen on replacement the ties are split in half and jerked out. They do make a hot fire although I wouldn't cook a brat over one.
