My girls both play flutes, and my son the clarinet- I want all my kids in marching band to keep them out of trouble.

My daughter starts middle school marching band next year- she is very excited about it. In elementary school they play in orchestra.

I am trying to get rid of our formal dining room furniture so that we can put a baby grand in the dining room we never use. I played piano from the age of five all the way through college- and I miss it a lot. Getting a piano and remodeling our master bedroom are the BIG projects on my plate. There are too many little projects to even go into.

I HATE May since my allergies always make me feel like death- but I could see how it would be a lovely month if you didn't have allergies. The thought of having May last a YEAR makes me shudder. I think rainy winter days are my favorite- no pollen in the air.

I hope your mouth feels better soon. Can you expect a full recovery?

Flautist, Joan. The flute player was a flautist.

If he had been a lute player he would have been a lutanist.
