As far as Argentina goes, I just read that Batistuta/BatiGOL signed the biggest ever contract in Italy...$5.2 mil per year!! Yes, I read that too. But make that 5.7 Mill. and the second largest transfer fee paid by Roma to Fiorentina (33.6 Million, 9.6 million short of Christian Viera's transfer fee paid by Inter-Milan to Lazio). Batistuta seems to ba a far smarter guy than Maradona. I also heard that Maradona is in Cuba following some sort of drug re-hab program and he is getting ready to go back to Argentina.
