So either we're liars or.... We're having sex with one another! Gross thought, for me anyway... Okay, okay, I'll admit it... I'm a liar. How about this? Theory1. Some of the women the men thought were women were actually men. Theory2. The other active women were too busy to do a survey, doing well, you know. Theory3. Occasional amnesia by the women. Theory4. The men were lying. Theory5. The women were lying. Theory6. The sample size is too small. At one point, she breathlessly announced that men had claimed an average of 12 sex partners, and women 6 ... Consider a sample of 10 men and 10 women, 2 of the women have sex with all of the men (sluts!) and the other 8 women are celibate. That makes an average of 2 sex partners for the men and (210+80)/10=2 for the women!
