Actually, a lot of our leaders of both parties are corrupt. And that isn't anything new to the Clinton era.

Of course not, he's a scoundrel. Yet there are plenty of other scoundrels on both sides of the partisan divide. And there have been plenty in the Oval Office in the past as well. Pretending that corruption began with Clinton and will disappear with his passing from the scene, as some seem to be doing, is particularly false.

Looking to political leaders up as models for personal morality is just plain misguided. A lesson that should be learned from the Clinton scandals and related fallout.
