dave B, yes, identical content. Usually audio is more interesting, but in this case, the written form is more understandable. To some, open architecture for memory storage may seem superficial. To others, it is the reason why the Macs will always be a niche product. But the MACs are almostly completely closed and proprietary, while INTC has slowly been sneaking in closed proprietary innovations (like slot1, socket 370, and replacements for AGP) to what started as open architecture PCs through the back door. Are they doing this for altruistic reasons? The disk storage mkt for example, requires an open std like ATAPI to deliver the best price to PC users. JM engineering O.
